This Week’s Seafood Order Atlantic Pollock & Frozen Sockeye Salmon (through Nov. 20)

pollock On the dock this week is fresh caught Atlantic Pollock from Cape Cod. From Sea to Table, “Atlantic Pollock is a member of the cod family and is a different species than Alaskan Pollock. Atlantic Pollock has white, firm meat and a sweet, delicate flavor. It is available at all times of year, but winter is the peak season in which to enjoy it. Really any preparation would suit it well, it is a versatile species.”

salmon2Also this week, we will be taking orders for the IQF frozen sockeye salmon sides (1 – 1.5# per side). They were caught in Graveyard Point (Bristol Bay, Alaska). The fish are hand set netted, cryo-vac’d and then blast frozen so no excess moisture has been trapped with the fish prior to freezing. We will not be offering seafood orders Thanksgiving week, so stock up for the holiday weekend!

Orders for both fish will be taken through Thursday morning 11 am. The fish will be here for you to pick up on Friday from 11 am to 7 pm.

Atlantic Pollock – $17.99 /lb.
Fillet cuts are approx. 1 lb.

Frozen Sockeye Salmon – $15.99/lb
