Why get your eggs and milk from Farmers & Artisans?

Our farm fresh brown eggs, sold by the dozen or half dozen, come from pastured hens that have not been treated with either hormones or antibiotics. Their feed is non-GMO.

The milk, in gallons and half gallons, and now quarts, is from a herd of Jersey cows that are pastured and not treated with any hormones or antibiotics. The whole milk is low-temp pasteurized and non-homogenized, preserving nutrition that is lost with ultra-pasteurization and homogenization. Note: The low-fat milk will continue to be homogenized.

Terms & Conditions: Milk is delivered on Wednesdays, therefore the milk and egg share pick up runs Wednesday to Tuesday of the following week. Please be advised that if you miss your pick up for your weekly milk share, you will forfeit your milk share for that week. Also please note that you must bring in your own egg carton weekly to fill. Please do not leave your used egg carton here. We legally cannot reuse old cartons. If you need a new carton, the price is $.35.

Milk & Egg Shares

Egg and milk subscriptions are the perfect way to ensure the availability of farm fresh eggs and milk for you and your family. The shares are conducted similar to a [tooltip text=”CSA is short for Community Supported Agriculture, an arrangement with the farmer in which the ‘shareholder’ prepays for the share and receives a portion of the harvest each week.”] CSA share.[/tooltip]Subscriptions to our milk and egg shares have continually grown since their inception a year ago. Quite a few customers have been asking when the next round of shares will begin. The current share will be completed the last week of April and the next installment will begin the following week on May 1.

The share choices include our farm fresh brown eggs from free-to-roam pastured hens that have not been treated with either hormones or antibiotics. You may choose any quantity in dozen or half-dozen increments.

Our milk comes from a herd of 100% Jersey cows that again are out on lush pasture and not treated with any hormones or antibiotics. Milk is available in whole and low-fat, in gallons and half gallons.

All shares last 13 weeks and pickups begin the week of May 1. You can select a convenient pickup day and your shares will be ready for you.

Egg and Milk Shares

Milk and egg shares have become very popular. Quite a few customers have been asking when the next round of shares will begin. The current share will be completed the week ending January 29 and the next installment will begin the following week, January 31.

The share choices include our farm fresh brown eggs from free-to-roam pastured hens that have not been treated with either hormones or antibiotics. We get comments on a daily basis on how much better our eggs taste than the eggs from the supermarket.

Our milk comes from a herd of 100% Jersey cows that again are out on lush pasture and not treated with any hormones or antibiotics. On many occasions, parents have taken some home for their kids to try and now their children don’t want any other milk. Plenty of adults are enjoying it too.

The shares are a win-win for everyone as they allow us to plan with the farmers how much to produce and we are able to pass along savings to our patrons.

All shares last 13 weeks and pickups begin the week of January 31. You can select a convenient pickup day and your shares will be ready for you.
